Breaking: US Coalition bombs Syrian Army in southeast Homs
BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 P.M.) – The U.S. Coalition has once again attacked the Syrian Armed Forces in southeastern countryside of the Homs Governorate, targeting a unit advancing towards the Al-Tanf Crossing.
“The Coalition destroyed additional pro-regime forces that advanced inside the well-established de-conflication zone in southern Syria on June 6,” a statement released by the Pentagon read today.
The Coalition allegedly sent several warnings to the advancing Syrian Army troops, but they refused to halt their push towards the Al-Tanf Crossing on the Iraqi-Syrian border.
Previously, the U.S. Coalition carried out a similar attack on May 18th that killed several Syrian military personnel that were advancing against the Free Syrian Army (FSA) units in southeast Homs.
The Syrian military command has not issued a response to the U.S.’ aggression.
